Deutsche Telekom has selected Idomoo, a personalized video platform provider, to create thousands of personalized videos for smooth onboarding of its new customers in Hungary. According to Idomoo, it was tasked with creating personalized videos, addressing thousands of new Deutsche Telekom customers in the country by their names, and explaining their first bill in an effort to engage and connect with them. Deutsche Telekom saw the need to ensure smooth onboarding of its customers as the first 90 days of a new telecom client are crucial in retaining them.
To assess the outcome of the initiative, said Idomoo, Deutsche Telekom conducted a customer survey after the initial three month campaign and received a very positive feedback. Customer engagement rates improved significantly with an average of 70% of those who received the videos watching them fully, while recording an impressive overall view rate of 65%, added Idomoo.
